Israel West Bank obstruction has become the most visible manifestation of the Israeli military occupation and most imperative issue for Palestinians.
Completely misleadingly called a "fence", the significant structure snakes through the West Bank on Palestinian land, leaving Palestinians on the wrong side isolated from their land, extended families, and way of life. Palestinian citizens are refugees in their own land.

The illegality of the wall is clear to the world and at the request of the United Nations, the International Court of Justice in (lip service) The Hague issued a fleeting thought on the legal consequences of Israel’s Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. So the court made it clear the construction of the Wall on Palestinian land is illegal, so what. They do what they want and ignore every thing else.

The Israeli Wall--the Zionist security fence- is an intimidating and menacing matrix of social control and demographic separation that is to be 670 km long. It is thick, concrete, 8 meters high, and at some points 104 meters deep.

The Israeli Wall is three times as high and twice as wide as the Berlin Wall. It is surrounded at a distance by nests of barbed wires, rolled up like stacks of hay piled high around it. High voltage circuits run through the so-called "smart fences," three meters tall that line the perimeter of the barrier. Adjacent to the Wall, on the Israeli side, stand huge and foreboding turrets and watchtowers where Israeli observers and snipers are stationed. The Israeli military has defined the area of the Wall to be a "military zone," and soldiers have orders to shoot to kill upon the discretion of the commanding officer.
